Let's talk about LOVE! đđđđ
Why love?? Because it's all around us!! You don't have to be IN love with a specific person in a romantic, relationship kind of way to experience the love of God!! God is everywhere and He is pouring out His love in so many ways that unfortunately go unnoticed SO often!
Think about it!! When you hear the term, "love is in the air"...the first thought that probably comes to mind is chubby ole, half-naked Cupid flying around with his bow aiming it at two people who seem to be googly-eyed with each other. đ BUT in reality.. that term means so much more than that!!!
I stepped outside today, to get a better view of God's love so that I could convey it to you in the best way possible and I found it in more places than one. I mean, look at the very fact that God created the sun đ and causes it to rise faithfully every morning providing us with light, nourishment and just straight beauty! When the sun is out... everybody's happy!! đ Why do you think the beach is one of the most highly appreciated places to relax and rejuvenate ourselves in the entire world! There is beauty in creation! One finds love when they recognize beauty and the awesome God that created it all just for us!
I look to my left and I see all these lush, green branches swaying with the wind đ and I get to catch the breeze from it across my skin! I raise my ear to the right and I hear the melody of maybe two or three songbirds chirping away above my head! đŁđ„ I mean seriously, just think of all of the beauty in nature itself.
But, what does this have to do with love, you ask?!?!?! It so pleasantly reminds me of the incredible love of God! Matthew 10:29-31 says, âWhatâs the price of a pet canary? đ€Some loose change, right? And God cares what happens to it [the canary] even more than you do. He pays even greater attention to you, down to the last detailâeven numbering the hairs on your head! So donât be intimidated by all this bully talk. Youâre worth more than a million canaries."(MSG) I mean, hearing those very words should truly show us just how much God cares for us. You are worth more than a million canaries to God. I mean, obviously that's love.
Bottom Line: God created you. God wants you. He wants you to complete the purpose that He's designed for your life and all, but He wants your heart and your attention more. He wants you to love Him back and recognize His love in everything. And even though we're unable to love Him back the way He loves us... He wants us to at least try. The thing is... we only respond in greater ways to His love, when we have greater revelation of His love for us...
